a) If you CANNOT make it to the midterm next Thursday, you can fill in the following link: https://polyhedron.math.uoc.gr/2122/moodle/mod/choice/view.php?id=1285 . If you CAN make it, there is no reason to fill in the link.
b) People who will not participate in the midterm will be examined on all the material in the final, which will count for 80% of the grade (the other 20% will be the programming exercise). The midterm will have a final 10% bonus grade, the final will not.
c) The midterm is, in general, NOT optional. I understand that due to COVID and the financial crisis, some students no longer live in Heraklion and I am trying to make it possible for them to take the course. The choice of not participating in the midterm is meant for people who, for some reason (work or residence) cannot be in Heraklion on March 31st.
Γεια σε όλους, μερικές διευκρινίσεις μιας και έλαβα μερικά email σχετικά με το θέμα:
α) Αν ΔΕΝ ΜΠΟΡΕΙTE να παραστείτε στην πρόοδο της επόμενης Πέμπτης, μπορείτε να συμπληρώσειτε τον παρακάτω σύνδεσμο: https://polyhedron.math.uoc.gr/2122/moodle/mod/choice/view.php?id=1285 . Αν ΜΠΟΡΕΙΤΕ να τα καταφέρετε, ΔΕΝ συμπληρώνετε τον σύνδεσμο.
β) Όσοι δεν θα συμμετάσχουν στο ενδιάμεσο θα εξεταστούν σε όλη την ύλη στον τελικό, η οποία θα μετρήσει για το 80% του βαθμού (το υπόλοιπο 20% θα είναι η άσκηση προγραμματισμού). Η πρόοδος θα έχει μπόνους 10%, το τελικό όχι.
γ) Η πρόοδος, γενικά, ΔΕΝ είναι προαιρετική. Καταλαβαίνω ότι λόγω του COVID και της οικονομικής κρίσης κάποιοι φοιτητές δεν μένουν πλέον στο Ηράκλειο και προσπαθώ να τους δώσω τη δυνατότητα να πάρουν το μάθημα. Η επιλογή της μη συμμετοχής στην πρόοδο αφορά άτομα που για κάποιο λόγο (εργασία ή κατοικία) δεν μπορούν να βρεθούν στο Ηράκλειο στις 31 Μαρτίου.
